This critical role is designed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production systems. As a Planning Engineer, you'll take charge of production planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement to help meet our factory's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Develop and implement daily and monthly production schedules aligned with factory requirements.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Create and review work schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet production targets.
  • Operations Monitoring: Track factory performance, provide regular progress updates, and address resource requirements.
  • Layout Design: Use AutoCAD software to design and optimize engineering layouts that support effective production planning.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze production performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
  • Resource Management: Ensure timely availability of materials and resources essential for production.
  • Quality & Safety: Uphold stringent quality and safety standards across all planning processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing plant, ideally within production or operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing facility layouts and equipment planning.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical approach.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management principles and/or process improvement techniques.
  • A team-focused, goal-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving objectives.

Experience Requirements:

  • Practical experience with AutoCAD and production planning tools is essential for this role.
